My first attempt to crochet a flower 🌸 and it was both fun and easy!
Will try with multiple colors and maybe a leaf next time… I’ll keep you posted! 😀

I’ve made a new rattle, this time a dog with a bell that makes a sound when you shake it 🔔
Pattern:
baby rattles
Yarn:
Stina 8/8 Garn Bomull 50 g Grön Svarta Fåret
crochet hook:
3.0
gadgets:
safety eyes, stuffing, I use dental floss as sewing thread for an invisible seam, a bell 🔔
I did my own version with this cute and free Bunny pattern…for those who know me can easily guess that I did it my favorite color..green💚
Pattern: Free Amigurumi Bunny Pattern Thank you Amigurumiforum for sharing free patterns 😍
I tried a new thing this time, I made the whole figure in one sweep from the legs, to the body and finally the head. It gets a little tight to hold when you get to the head but think it works well. I made the ears separately.
Yarn: thinner cotton yarn e.g. this from Panduro.
Crochet hook: 2,50
Gadgets: swing needle, scissor, personal button, filling
Feel free to share!
Here you find my version of this cute chicken , the pantern is free and easy to do. As usual, I put the parts together with dental floss for a seamless finish.
Yarn and crochet hook to your liking and size.
A favorite is back, this time in a slightly different shape and color.
How: I search and find free patterns on Pinterest.
Tip 1: I crochet with cotton yarn, crochet quite tightly so that the stuffing doesn’t fall out, and stuff them tightly for durability and machine washability.
Tip 2: When crocheting for children, make sure that nothing can come loose. Safety first, always. In this case, I have tied a business card in a silk ribbon instead of sewing on my badge button as I usually do.
Crocheting can be simple and very straightforward, but once you start to Amigurumi you’ll need accessories like key chains, stuffing, doll joints and eyes. Living in Sweden, I have found some good ones that I always come back to. Important for me is the assortment, speed of delivery and that it is nicely presented upon delivery.
I’m back! 😊
With a new experience… after an intense period of crocheting I suddenly lost inspiration. I couldn’t crochet the smallest thing, it wasn’t fun anymore.
But then suddenly I had some time to spare and I found the joy in crocheting again with these cute hearts 🧡💜💚💙.

It started with an idea for a bedspread but when I realized how MANY grandma squares were required, I gave up and made a baby blanket instead. And I’ve also learned that if you’re going to work with grandma squares, attach all ends at once to avoid having to do everything at the end… as I did. Lol.
In the beginning, I decided on a color scheme and then I made different variations, when done I placed them all on the floor and moved the squares around until I found a flow of patterns and colors that I enjoyed. I crochet mine together, you can choose to sew if you prefer but I think it looks nicer to crochet and I also did an decorative edge around the entire blanket. There are many to choose from on Pinterest, I chose Shell Edging for my blanket.
Pattern: The base is grandma squares, the pattern my own
