Elephant

A favorite is back, this time in a slightly different shape and color.

How: I search and find free patterns on Pinterest.

Tip 1: I crochet with cotton yarn, crochet quite tightly so that the stuffing doesn’t fall out, and stuff them tightly for durability and machine washability.

Tip 2: When crocheting for children, make sure that nothing can come loose. Safety first, always. In this case, I have tied a business card in a silk ribbon instead of sewing on my badge button as I usually do.

LOVE beautiful deliveries 💖

Crocheting can be simple and very straightforward, but once you start to Amigurumi you’ll need accessories like key chains, stuffing, doll joints and eyes. Living in Sweden, I have found some good ones that I always come back to. Important for me is the assortment, speed of delivery and that it is nicely presented upon delivery.

Thanks to fast delivery from https://virknalarochtillbehor.se/ I can now complete my new key rings!

Hearts ❤️

I’m back! 😊

With a new experience… after an intense period of crocheting I suddenly lost inspiration. I couldn’t crochet the smallest thing, it wasn’t fun anymore.

But then suddenly I had some time to spare and I found the joy in crocheting again with these cute hearts 🧡💜💚💙.

Amigurumi Pigeon

I made a key chain of this little bird. Hard to get a pointed beak but think it turned out okay. What do you think?

The pattern said that you should have a gray-colored felt fabric around the eyes but it fell off so I used white yarn instead, the yarn ends became like eyelashes. Cute!

Amigurumi

Amigurumi (Japanese: 編みぐるみ, lit. “crocheted or knitted stuffed toy”) is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small, stuffed yarn creatures.

It is a djungel of patterns out there but in the beginning I tried to find free patterns at Pinterest.

My very first amigurumi was “Fred the Frog” from smartapplecreations.blogspot.com
The pattern is amazing, showed step by step how to do it and it was very easy to follow but in hindsight I´ve learned that smaller crochet hook is not always good when you´re learning, the project get to small and it gets hard to get around everywhere but I made it!! Yay!

I also used safety eyes for the first time. I bought these on Virknalarochtillbehor. Crocket hook size 2.50 and cotton yarn 8/4
